    Arrive in Rome, Italy today and be transferred to the hotel.

    11/21 ROME - ITALY
    Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the beautiful city of Rome. Journey to the (Vatican Museum), which features an immense collection of worlds built up by the Roman Catholic Church. They include some of the most renowned classical sculptures and notable masterpieces of Renaissance art in the world. The (Sistine Chapel) is the official residence of the Pope in the Vatican City. The fame of the Sistine Chapel lies mainly in the frescos that decorate the interior, and most particularly the Sistine Chapel ceiling and The Last Judgment by Michelangelo. Tour (St. Peter’s Basilica), an Italian Renaissance church which is the largest church in the world. Enjoy the stunning artwork, Renaissance architecture and its opulent interior. Last but not least, visit the (Pantheon Church), built around 27-25 B.C., it one of the best preserved monuments of ancient Rome. It is believed to have been designed as a temple for Roman gods.

    On our second day tour, no visit to Rome is complete without seeing the famous landmark of the (Colosseum.) Built in the 1st century AD, this great arena could seat 45,000 spectators and was the largest Roman amphitheater in the world. It hosted gladiatorial combats, spectacles with wild beasts and possibility the execution of early Christians. Afterwards, we will head over to (Civitavecchia) cruise port to board Norwegian Getaway. Enjoy outstanding cuisine, fun entertainment, and much more.

    11/24 SANTORINI - GREECE
    Today our cruise ship arrives in the beautiful Santorini, Greece. It is a volcanic island in the Cyclades islands of the Greek islands; famous for stunning views, beautiful sunsets and fantastic beaches. The blue and white color of this city is many artists gathering place, it is also many photographer’s paradise. We will take a (cable car) and head to the largest city (Fira), the town built on a cliff slope of about 300 meters above sea level. Next we will see the second largest city of Santorini, (Oia.) Make sure you take a picture of the most photographed shot of this beautiful city.

    11/25 MYKONOS - GREECE
    Welcome to another beautiful Greek island, Mykonos, Greece; situated in the middle of the Aegean Sea, it is well known for white gems, bright sunshine, sandy beaches, blue oceans, comfortable resort style, and always attracting many tourists from all over the world. It is suggested the best way to explore Mykonos is to wander around the city aimlessly, exploring the alley because you just don’t know what you will see. See (Little Venice), one of the most romantic places on the island. This area is filled with elegant and gorgeous old houses that are alongside the edge of the sea. From here you can see the (Kato Milli Windmills), built by the Venetians in the 16th century to mill wheat, an industry during the early days of Mykonos. Although they are not in use, one of these windmills has been transformed into a museum.

    Today our cruise ship arrives in (Piraeus), Greece. We will journey to Athens, the city with the most glorious history in the world, with a history that goes back over three millennia. Explore this magical city worshipped by gods and people. Visit the ancient “high city” of Athens, (Acropolis) crowned by white temples sacred to the city’s goddess Athena. The magnificent Parthenon, built on top of the hill in the 5th Century BCE, is one of the greatest architectural masterpieces of all time. It is the most significant reference point of ancient Greek culture, as well as the symbol of the city. See the (New Acropolis Museum) in Athens. The designer used a lot of glass to make the interior marble even more magnificent. Learn about the position of women in ancient Athens, their relation to worship, and the significance that the goddesses and heroines of the Acropolis held for the Athenians.

    11/27 CORFU - GREECE
    Our cruise ship arrives in Corfu, Greece, known as the Emerald Island. We will visit the (Achilleion House and Sculpture Gardens), the summer palace built by the order of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. The palace was designed to represent an ancient Phoenician palace with the mythical hero Achilles. You can enjoy seeing Greek mythology details all around this beautiful palace.

    11/28 DUBROVNIK - CROATIA
    Today our cruise ship arrives in Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic Sea,” set between cobalt seas and the rugged Dinaric Alps. Constructed as a series of fortresses to protect against centuries of invasions from pirates and other nations, Dubrovnik is guarded with massive stone walls and hefty cannons. We will visit (Old Town), and enjoy a walk on (The City Wall), the most important feature of Dubrovnik, measuring about 1940 meters, surrounded by defensive walls and forts. The wall is a world renowned iconic symbol of the white stone beauty. Next take the (Dubrovnik Cable Car) up to (Mt. SRD) where you can see the breathtaking view of the Old City of Dubrovnik, the beautiful Adriatic Sea, and the various surrounding islands. Last but not least, visit (Lovrijenac Fortress), which is situated on a cliff. The fortress looks as if its guarding the city of Dubrovnik between land and sea. This is also the filming location of the famous HBO series “Game of Thrones.”

    11/29 KOTOR - MONTENEGRO
    Our cruise ship arrives in Montenegro, also known as the Republic of Montenegro. It has become a popular destination since the independence from Serbia in 2006. We will visit (Budva), in the south of Kotor, a former Greek colony, with a history and culture of more than 2500 years. Within the town of Budva, the most monumental architectural building, (Budva Citadel) is a mediaeval castle with great fortification objects dating from the Middle Ages on the Montenegro Coast. Kotor’s most impressive building which is also a symbol of the city, (St. Tryphon’s Cathedral), is a Roman Catholic cathedral consecrated in the 12th century but reconstructed after several earthquakes. It contains a rich collection of artifacts and has a treasure of immense value.

    12/1 NAPLES - ITALY
    Today we arrive in Naples, Italy. We will visit the famous archaeological site (Pompeii.) In A.D. 79, an eruption of Mount Vesuvius destroyed the city, killing its inhabitants and buried most of Pompeii. Pompeii has been a famous destination for over 250 years and with it being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, we will return to Naples and explore (Piazza del Plebiscito), which was built by the King of Naples in the early 19th century. This noble piazza is enclosed by the royal palace and the church of San Francesco di Paola. Next enjoy (Posillipo Hill) for a magnificent view of Mount Vesuvius and the entire city. Once we return to the pier, you can also see (Castel Nuovo), a beautiful old building built in 1279 by the first king of Naples which makes it the landmark of Naples.

    12/2 FLORENCE - ITALY
    Our cruise ship arrives in (Livorno.) We will head over to Florence, Italy; the birthplace of the Renaissance period. We will first visit the (Piazza Della Signoria), which is the top among Florence’s most important squares. Here you can find sidewalk cafes lining the pedestrian square along with replicas of famous sculptures and historical buildings. Explore (Duomo Santa Maria Del Fiore), a vast Gothic structure built on the site of the 7th century church of Santa Reparata, the remains of which can be seen in the crypt. It now serves as an iconic symbol of Florence. Built very close to the Roman crossing, the (Ponte Vecchio), was the only bridge across the Arno River in Florence up until 1218. It is an important channel connecting the north and south banks at its narrowest point, overhanging with little shops.

    12/3 CANNES - FRANCE
    Today our cruise ship arrives in Cannes, France. We will have a chance to visit (Monte Carlo), the luxurious city of (Monaco), also the second smallest country in the world. This city overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, known for its unique charm and wealth. See (The Cathedral), famous for the tombs of Princess Grace Kelly. Visit the famous (Monte Carlo Casino), built in 1863, this casino is exquisite in its design.

    12/4 PALMA DE MALLORCA - SPAIN
    Our cruise ship arrives in Palma De Mallorca, Spain, the capital of the Balearic Islands. Visit the landmark of the city, (Palma Cathedral), a Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to Palma’s patron saint, San Sebastian. The cathedral overlooks the harbor located in the oldest part of the city and has one of the world’s largest stained glass windows holding over 1,200 pieces of glass and measuring almost 12 m across. Next see (Bellver Castle), a well-preserved 14th century Gothic style royal fortress. It is one of the few circular castles from the 18th to the mid 20 century and has long been used as a military prison. The name Bellver means ‘beautiful view’, because of its location and visibility.

    12/5-12/6 BARCELONA - SPAIN
    Today our cruise ship arrives in Barcelona, Spain. After disembarking, we will have a city tour of this beautiful city. We will first visit the (Sagrada Familia), the beautiful yet controversial and unfinished church due to the untimely death of its architect, Antoni Gaudi in 1926. Gaudi began constructing this surreal temple in 1882 and it is still in construction to this day. Next come explore the famous shopping area La Rambla. This area stretches for about 1.2 kilometers connecting with the Catalunya Square with the (Columbus Monument) at Port Vell. Visit the (Spanish Village), originally constructed in 1929 for an exhibition, representing regional types of buildings from all over Spain with a little village along with narrow lines and shady squares. With many shops selling good quality souvenirs and regional food and drinks. See the (Olympic Stadium), which was ready in 1929 but was used for the first time in 1992 for the Olympic Games. At night, we will attend an exhilarating Flamenco show, which includes a delicious dinner of Spanish cuisine.
